Es este, quizás, el monumento más significativo en una ciudad eminente monumental. El Acueducto de Segovia, construido por los romanos hace más de 2000 Años es una obra de ingeniería civil que asombra y maravilla a todos aquellos que nos visitan. La grandiosidad de este conducto para llevar agua de una parte a otra de la ciudad es impresionante. Sus 166 arcos, se sustentan sobre pilares y se elevan hasta un máximo de 28 metros, todo ello construido con piedras de granito engarzadas entre si, sin ningún tipo de argamasa.

* Surely is the most representative monument in a monumental city, as Segovia is. The Aqueduct, was contrived by the Romans, about two thousand years ago, in order to take water from the mountain to the upper part of the city. It´s a civil engincering work, which amazes all those people who visit us. It´s 166 arches standing on 120 pillars rise 28 metres on the highest point. The whole brigde was built with stones of granite. Each stone remains free of binding agents or cements of any kind.
